DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in public safety in the city?\n3rd District City Councilwoman Suzie Price will be holding meetings at different locations and times to make them more accessible to Long Beach residents. \nAgenda Items for This Meeting: \n\nPolice Department’s Quality of Life Officiers\nTracking for Misdemeanor Arrests\nFeasibility of Reinstating the Safe Ride Program for Students\n\nMore info is available using the link below. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs Chair of the Public Safety Committee I am convening a meeting on Thursday\, July 13th at 6:00 PM \n\nThis meeting is being held at the Fire Department Training Center at 2249 Argonne Ave. Classroom #2. \n\n\nThe Committee will be holding meetings at different locations and times than usual in an effort to be more accessible to Long Beach residents. Public Safety Committee meetings have historically been held at City Hall during a weekday afternoon. This location and time creates difficulty for many Long Beach residents to attend\, which is compounded by current construction. With these factors in mind\, the Public Safety Committee decided to periodically hold meetings across the City in different communities and at times that are easier for residents to attend.\n\nI want to ensure that the committee provides better outreach to Long Beach residents and an easier forum for them to be informed and provide their input by taking the conversation to the people.
