DESCRIPTION:Annual Summer Meet\, Greet & Eat CANCELED \nSaturday\, July 18 @ 5:00 pm*  \n  \n*UPDATE as of July 11\, 2020: \nAfter much consideration and in consultation with the City of Long Beach’s Department of Health & Human Services\, the BPNA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision in the best interests and for the safety of our community to CANCEL this year’s “Meet\, Greet & Eat” event scheduled for next Saturday\, July 18.\n\n\n\n\nLast week the City revised its Safer at Home Order for the Control of COVID-19 which states\, “All public and private gatherings of any number of people occurring outside a single household are prohibited….”  We are deeply disappointed to have to cancel this summer favorite; however\, it is important we all do our part in curbing the spread.\n\n\n\n\n\nSPECIAL THANKS to our residents who had planned to serve as HOSTS:\n\n\nJoe Lazo & Dan Corrado\nSergio Macias & Andreas Gerogiannis\nMichelle & Patrick Murray\nTodd Turley\n\nHosts were going to provide a spot in the front of their residences where neighbors throughout the community stop by for a tasty summer treat.  This is always a fun event for neighbors and friends\, new and old\, to meet\, mingle\, and strengthen the sense of community block by block. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nShout out also to the LOCAL businesses who were planning to provide special GOURMET FOOD and MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT.  Please support them by clicking on the links below:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nChef Pavel Kremen\n \n\n\n\nNaples Strings\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease SAVE THE DATES for these upcoming BPNA events and visit the Calendar (above) for updates and more info:*\n\n\nAnnual Block Party – Saturday\, August 22 \nNeighborhood Clean-Up & Breakfast – Saturday\, September 12 \nCommunity Meeting & Social – Wednesday\, September 25\nHoliday Bow Breakfast – Sunday\, December 6 \n\n* Subject to cancellation or change based on current city health directives\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nUpdated 2020_0530\, 0707\, 0711
