All registered voters receive mail-in ballots in advance sent to their home address. \n\n\n\nJoin us for our special event “Council District 2 Neighborhood Candidates Forum” \n\n\n\nKnow before you vote! \n\n\n\nAn engaging opportunity to meet the candidates running in the election for Long Beach City Council District 2.  Hear an election overview from the Office of the City Clerk.  Hear the candidates’ answers to key questions and their visions and perspectives.  Have an opportunity to ask the candidates your questions. \n\n\n\nFree for all and open to the public. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNot sure which is your Council District?  Check out the Map below.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSPECIAL THANKS to the BPNA’s collaborating organizations for their help in planning and putting on this special community event:  Rose Park Neighborhood Association\,  Bluff Heights Neighborhood Association\, and the City of Long Beach Office of the City Clerk. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nResidents\, homeowners\, and business owners all across District 2 are invited to attend! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor Election and Voting Information\, visit https://www.longbeach.gov/cityclerk/elections/ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease Note:  BPNA\, RPNA\, and BHNA operate as 501(c)(3) nonprofits and\, by following their bylaws\, do not endorse any candidate in any election. This special citywide event is being carefully and solely planned by the neighborhood associations to be fair\, respectful\, balanced\, and informative. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUpdate as of February 9\, 2024:  According to the Office of the City Clerk\, there are only two (2) candidates running for the District 2 City Council seat: Cindy Allen and Ketty Citterio.  The City Clerk is currently not aware of any official Write-In candidates.
