DESCRIPTION:Participate in YOUR Community Meeting: Wed June 26   \n\nHear about and provide your input on the City’s new proposal for a Bluff Enhancement & Safety Project whose goals are to bring accessibility\, illumination\, visibility and socialization to the grassy bluff  area overlooking the Pacific Ocean just south of our neighborhood. Conceived by our resident Isaac Waksul\, one of the first areas of attention will be on lighting options. Our guest speakers will be Brian Ulaszewski and Mina Roades from City Fabrick\, a local non-profit urban design studio that is working with the City of Long Beach Public Works Department. (Note: This is not the BPNA’s Bluff Park Historic Lamppost Project.)\n\n  \n\nLearn about\, ask questions and provide your input on the City’s efforts to rescind a decades’ old Special Setback Requirement and how it will impact the neighborhood’s construction projects. The impetus and immediate direct impact for the discussion relate to a proposed development plan for the empty lot at 29 Kennebec Avenue.  Our guest speakers will be Gina Casillas\, Alejandro Plascencia\, and Christopher Koontz from the City of Long Planning Bureau.
