Saturday, November 11, 2017 @ 10:00 AM – Location: 340 Nieto Avenue at the Conservation Corps Building
We will meet to discuss how our neighborhood residents and homeowners, the Bluff Park Neighborhood Association, the city’s Planning Department, and historic preservation leaders can work together collaboratively to best ensure that the significantly historic homes and properties in the Bluff Park Historic District are preserved — balancing the rights and responsibilities of owners, city laws and historic ordinance requirements.
We will be joined and led by Christopher Koontz, City of Long Beach Advance Planning Officer.
Louise Ivers, Former Member of the Cultural Heritage Commission, will also be on hand to help us.
At this meeting, indirect attention will be given to the current status and plans for 3065 E. Ocean Boulevard, also known as “Weathering Heights” (pictured here).
Seating is limited. If you can, please bring an extra folding chair with you.
Parking can be found on the nearby streets. Arrive early for best availability.
The meeting will take place inside the Conservation Corps building, which is across from the Colorado Lagoon.
