Holiday Bow Breakfast: Decorating Our Icon

Were you here years ago when the neighborhood’s iconic lampposts were decorated with bows for the holidays?
Inspired by our esteemed residents and local historic preservationists, Helena Segelhorst and her husband, of blessed memory, Elbert Segelhorst, let us together recreate this wonderful holiday tradition that brightens our streets.
Free and family friendly event!
We will meet for a light breakfast fare and then place bows on the historic lampposts at the intersections all along East 1st Street. All are welcome. No experience needed. Come out to help us place the bows and enjoy some holiday cheer with your friends and neighbors!
If interested, your tax-deductible and much appreciated donation will help offset the costs of the bows and breakfast and raise funds for the Bluff Park Historic Lamppost Project.
