California’s Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 5, 2024. All registered voters receive mail-in ballots in advance sent to their home address.

An engaging opportunity to meet the candidates running in the election for Long Beach City Council District 2. Hear an election overview from the Office of the City Clerk. Hear the candidates’ answers to key questions and their visions and perspectives. Have an opportunity to ask the candidates your questions.

Please Note: BPNA, RPNA, and BHNA operate as 501(c)(3) nonprofits and, by following their bylaws, do not endorse any candidate in any election. This special citywide event is being carefully and solely planned by the neighborhood associations to be fair, respectful, balanced, and informative.

Update as of February 9, 2024: According to the Office of the City Clerk, there are only two (2) candidates running for the District 2 City Council seat: Cindy Allen and Ketty Citterio. The City Clerk is currently not aware of any official Write-In candidates. A third candidate listed on the ballot is Sara Zaidi, but she has withdrawn her candidacy as of January 16, according to her campaign web page https://sara2citycouncil.com/ and according to her email to us, pasted below:
