Beach Streets University

 

Beach Streets is an Open Streets event designed to showcase businesses & neighborhoods!  For a single day, the City will close a major traffic corridor to cars and open the street to people walking & bicycling.  Streets closed to traffic are Atherton, Bellflower Blvd., Los Coyotes Diagonal, and Spring St. and are labeled in orange on the map.

“NO PARKING” signs will be posted 72 hours in advance for your awareness.

Acceptable modes of transportation along the route include bicycles, skates, roller-blades, skateboards, etc.

This is a great opportunity for you to explore local businesses and services.  Councilwoman Price will have a booth set up at the end of Beach Streets, near Cal State Long Beach.  Please stop by as you make your way down the street!
