In compliance with the BPNA Bylaws, the annual Board Elections will take place immediately after the March Community Meeting.
The four (4) positions up for election this year are as follows: President, Vice President of Events & Fundraising, Vice President of Historic Preservation, and Vice President of Public Safety. All positions serve for a 2-year term. Only the role of President is limited to serving for 3 consecutive terms in that position. Board positions in elections are staggered to help ensure continuity.
Important qualifications, roles, and responsibilities of board officers are outlined in the BPNA’s Bylaws, Policies, and Manners of Acting, which can be found on the About Us page on this website.
Adult BPNA Members who are paid; current; in good standing; and living, owning or renting within the Bluff Park Historic District are eligible to run for positions and/or vote in the BPNA’s Board Elections. The final call for candidates will take place during this Community Meeting.
