Update as of November 19, 2020: Unfortunately, the County of Los Angeles and the City of Long Beach issued stricter guidelines due to the current increasing numbers of COVID-19 infections in our community. For the safety of all, we have had to cancel this annual event which usually involves breakfast.
In lieu of the event, scroll down and sign up below for an intersection to tie the holiday ribbons into bows on the decorative lampposts. Bows may be picked up around 9:00 am on Saturday, December 6, 2020.

Our 4th Annual Holiday Bow Tying
FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. STROLL, JOG OR DRIVE THE STREETS TO ENJOY SOME HOLIDAY CHEER!
Inspired by our esteemed residents and local historic preservationists, Helena Segelhorst and her husband, of blessed memory, Elbert Segelhorst, let us together recreate this wonderful holiday tradition that brightens our streets.
Let’s have fun placing bows on the historic lampposts at the intersections all along East 1st Street and the new lampposts along Paloma Avenue.
No experience needed. Bows and personal instructions will be provided. Come out to help us spread some holiday cheer with your friends and neighbors!
If interested, your tax-deductible and much appreciated donation will help offset the costs of the bows and raise funds for the 3rd phase of the Bluff Park Historic Lamppost Project.
