Are you concerned about increased density in Long Beach?
Make sure to attend an upcoming public discussion forum!
BPNA would like to help spread the word about Long Beach’s Land Use Element of the General Plan, and it’s future impact on the density of the City.
City staff recently completed the Land Use Element (LUE) of the General Plan and brought it to the Planning Commission on August 17, 2017.
After citizens voiced their concerns about the increased density allowed on major thoroughfares and other areas in Long Beach detailed in the LUE, the Commission voted to allow more public discussion of the matter.
Four new meetings are scheduled in various venues around the city. The public is invited to attend and participate in them.
