Goodbye ’17, Hello ’18

A Message to the BPNA Board from Jeff Mallin on December 1, 2017:

Dear Fellow Board Members:

As the year changes from ’17 to ’18, I am reminded of transitioning from a teenager to an adult – which is metaphorically (and only somewhat jokingly) how I would like to see us grow in the coming year.

Now with the excitement of having two new board members and a full board in-place, I would like to take some time during next week’s BPNA board meeting to have us reflect back and aim forward.

My intention is that this will be just the beginning of more conversations along these lines both during and outside of upcoming meetings, in order for us to build a high-functioning, satisfied and productive board for the association and neighborhood.

Please take a few minutes to print out and complete the form and bring it along with you to the meeting on Thursday.  CLICK Here for a Printable Form. Or, alternatively, if you would prefer to complete it online, complete the fields below.

Overall this exercise will require a bit of thoughtful consideration and time, but I believe it will be effort and time worthwhile.

Thank you! I look forward to seeing you at the next board meeting on the 7th!

In 2017, what have I accomplished in my designated role?
What do I personally "need or have to have" in order to fulfill and feel satisfied in my designated role and/or as a board member?
What would I personally "like or desire" in order to fulfill and feel satisfied in my designated role and/or as a board member?
Looking to 2018, what are my personal "objectives or goals" in my designated role and/or as a board member?
Looking to 2018, how will I and others know that I will have met my objective(s) in my designated role and/or as a board member? What will be the marker(s) or indicator(s) of my success in reaching my objective(s)?
What is my designated role (title) on the board?
