Notice of Filming This Week for AMC’s Upcoming TV Series “Lodge 49”

Dear Neighbor,

Our AMC TV Show called “Lodge 49 is proposing to film in your area. The story revolves around a young guy from Long Beach, Ca who joins a local fraternal group called Lodge 49. We are planning on doing a driving scene at Bluff Park from 36th Pl. to Paloma Ave. In order do the scenes were requesting to do the following activities.

Our proposed activities are as follows:

Prep: Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 from 7am to 5pm.

Film: Thursday, January 18th from 6am to 3pm.

Strike: Friday, January 18th, 2018 from 7am to 5pm.

Truck Parking & No Parking Signs & Closures:

Wednesday, January 17th, 2018

7am to 4pm- South Side of Ocean Blvd. from Paloma Ave. going west for 150 ft. 7am to 5pm- West Side of 36th Pl. from Ocean Blvd. going south to end.

7am to 5pm- East Side of Paloma Ave. from Ocean Blvd. going North 100ft.

Thursday, January 18th, 2018

6am to 3pm- Both Sides of 36th Pl. from Ocean Blvd. going south to end.

7am to 4pm- South Side of Ocean Blvd. from Orizaba Ave. to Paloma Ave.

7am to 4pm -South Side of Ocean Blvd from 36th Pl. to 37th Pl.

7am to 4pm -East Side of Paloma Ave. from Ocean Blvd. to E. 1st St.

7am to 4pm -South Side of E. 1st St. from Paloma Ave. going east for 100ft. and west for 100ft. East Side of Loma Ave. from Ocean Blvd. to E. 1st St.

***6am to 3pm- Closure of #5 & #2 (curb lane plus adjacent lane) on Eastbound Ocean Blvd. from Paloma Ave. going west for 200 ft, allowing one lane of eastbound traffic to flow at ALL TIMES.***

Filming will consist of exterior dialogue/ walk and talk on grass near S 36th Pl. and near the Lone Sailor Statue. Actors will be sitting on existing park benches and waiting on curb for van. Production will have camera in curb-lane and a crane arm that swings around into grass area. They will place existing park bench on grass with mats/plywood under bench to protect the grass. Cable will also run down bluff with a generator in place just off bike path, not affecting path at any time.
